Families of substantial net worth often maintain a collage of holdings – from
real estate and business assets, to trust funds and other investments with many different sources
and in many different countries. Oversight of these assets has often been inherited by multiple
portfolio managers, investment firms and banks. Private Client Services, Inc.'s Family Office
Services aims to consolidate, review and manage these resources. We are your advocates in overseeing
the performance of your assets – and your asset managers – no matter how geographically
dispersed they may be. In some cases, we can help consolidate or further diversify your wealth
platform in order to save you time, money and energy.
We will assess your current portfolio, and adjust it according to your regularly revised investment
policy, business, family and personal goals. In many cases clients are not privy to the details of the
transactions and relationships going on with their providers. In most circumstances, portfolios are
managed in a legacy environment, and there is a hesitation to review the merits, fees and performance
of these assets and the managers. We sit on your side of the table and advocate your interest.
When you face challenges, we face them with you. When we help you succeed, we are working for you.
We look after your best interest. We believe "your" contains you and our, and demonstrates our role as
being a part of your team, and accountable to you and your objectives. To be able to administer this
type of relationship, in most cases, without any additional costs to you, is why Private Client Services was created.
Assessing your financial environment:
In choosing financial managers and strategies, the obvious instinct is to look at the performance figures. A sound strategy, customized to your risk tolerance and objectives, can be achieved with many different resources. In most cases performance numbers can be selectively engineered with various cut-off dates, to reflect different trailing results. Many times the resource you are using is representing multiple sides, and gaining benefits from multiple sides. We help you find the most efficient source, and give you transparency into your transactions. As your advocates we will ask the tough questions, and shelter you from emotional and psychological entanglements when looking after your wealth.
Private Client Services Inc. Family Office Services offers families with substantial assets an advocacy environment that represents your family’s best interest. Families who do not wish to maintain their own staffed and managed family office can have access to all the essential financial, personal and business coordination benefits of a dedicated family office from Private Client Services Inc. without compromising competence, performance or scope of services. We utilize and make available a similar combination of internal and external professional consultants that a single-family office would use, while refraining from getting too isolated and used to status quo. Private Client Services, Inc. serves a limited number of families, and maintains an exclusive and highly confidential knowledge of their overall financial situations, their ongoing needs and their identified objectives. We can facilitate the acquisitions of existing and/or new businesses; handling due diligence along with your Attorneys and CPAs. We advise and source on behalf of senior executives and/or Board of Directors on business issues. We manage the purchase, financing and/or sale of residential and commercial real estate. We coach and facilitate mentoring and guiding of next generations on strategy, financial management, personal/business agreements, business opportunities and philanthropic involvements. We engage in mediation of family member conflicts and differences, and assist in creating a legacy plan which leaves current and future generations in harmony as much as possible.
Wealth management coordination:
One of the great values of our family office service is to coordinate and oversee all of the various professional disciplines necessary to manage the financial affairs of your family. The assets of the family are much more efficiently and effectively managed by a centralized oversight organization, which can implement on the clients behalf. We stand in your shoes, and act as an extended part of your family. The determination of an appropriate asset allocation, and investment management strategy, is done with a detailed and quarterly/annually updated understanding of your objectives and financial situation through our Financial Triage™ Process. We would like to be notified of material changes in your family and life as soon as they occur, so we can help you make the appropriate assessments. We count on you to keep us informed regarding unscheduled changes in your life. Since the family office can be empowered to pay the bills, manage insurance, and oversee investments while working with your CPAs and Attorneys, it can more effectively advocate your needs and objectives. Your Private Client Services, Inc. family office, with its complete knowledge of your family and your objectives, can support the wealth planning process, and can be an advocate for the family and facilitate the interactions with legal and other resources. You will appreciate us whether you are a professional in your field or your business expertise and legacy lie in a very different industry. We are here to serve you!
Our highly confidential approach, and full service environment, fulfills all of the needs of your family. Each family is served as if Private Client Services, Inc. is their dedicated family office. Our fees can be based on the assets under management, and/or hourly, and/or are sometimes allocated as a portion of the third party professional’s standard fees.
